Elected Offices

Panton conducts Town Meeting via Australian ballot. Anyone wishing to run for a local office must submit a nominating petition signed by one percent of the Panton voter checklist. Panton currently has 541 registered voters. The nominating petition, accompanied by a consent of candidate form, must be filed with the municipal clerk no later than 5 p.m. on the sixth Monday preceding the day of the election—January 29, 2024. Nominating petitions may contain the name of only one candidate.
